Supporting OirthirSAT from the ground
EOLAS INSIGHT LTD.
EOLAS Insight Ltd. have provided valuable advice on structuring and managing the OirthirSAT programme along with technical advice on the development of our AI algorithms for processing EO imagery that will be captured by the OirthirSAT nanosatellite.
Dassault Systèmes support OirthirSAT with the 3DExperience suite of applications that provides a single repository for design data. Toolsets including CATIA and SIMULIA are invaluable for the design and modelling of the nanosatellite structure and Dragsail payload.
JLCPCB will manufacture the PCB for the Dragsail to be produced for OirthirSAT. In addition the team of design engineers will provide assistance with the purchasing and assembly of the PC104 compatible PCBs.
All OirthirSAT team members began their journeys with GU Orbit, the University of Glasgow's CubeSat development team. As the primary backer of the team, GU Orbit provides advice, organizes events, and helps publicize the OirthirSAT programme.
UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW
The OirthirSAT team was founded by 10 students from the University of Glasgow with the majority still studying undergraduate and postgraduate courses across the Schools of Computer Science, Engineering, and Geography & Earth Science.
DUNDEE SATELLITE STATION LTD.
Dundee Satellite Station Ltd. will provide communications and ground station support for the OirthirSAT mission. The experts at Dundee Satellite Station Ltd. have a vast wealth of experience and have been critical in defining the communications subsystems of the nanosatellite.
